This simple phrase captures a powerful truth about learning, character, and personal development.

Growth does not happen instantly. It requires effort, perseverance, and the willingness to continue even when something feels difficult. Just as a seed must push through the soil before it can grow into a strong plant, learning often requires patience and resilience before progress becomes visible.

At Unicorn Preparatory, we believe that mistakes are not signs of failure, but evidence of learning. Our teachers support and challenge learners not for perfection, but for progress. Through consistent effort, encouragement, and reflection, growth naturally follows.

As a school community, we are committed to creating an environment where every child is encouraged to persevere, to believe in their ability to improve, and to understand that success comes through steady effort over time.

This year, when learning feels difficult, we encourage our learners to remember our message:

Keep going — because that is how we grow.
